LOL. Hmm. That’ why you’re prayer is Christian-oriented, right? Because you’re so inclusive? One thing I’ve learned in my four decades of life: If you give a “common man” political power, he becomes intoxicated with that power. Why? Because he can’t gain that kind of power in the real world; he’s too “common,” remember? So, when he gets it, he inevitably abuses it. Thus, when you have a guy that can’t spell or punctuate properly acting as a “representative” of the poeple, a guy like Eddie Gaddis, you’re doomed. No one in the populace WANTS “the common man” to lead. No one. What people want is someone brighter, more prepared, and more capable than themselves. Listen, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Paine….these guys were brilliant minds. They weren’t Eddie Gaddis or Rick Perry. And not ONE of them oriented their political philosophies around group prayer. (I don’t pray, nor do my Buddhist friends or do my atheist friends. So how is THAT including “all kinds of people?”) This looks like a cult to any logical human being. And good for you; good for you that there are still enough people out there desperate enough to believe in such a farce. Really, I thought this movement was something important. It’s a bit of a joke, really. Peace.
